Dallin is so wiggly and has a hard time not flinching and wiggling when getting his hair cut. Well today he didn't hold still and now has this lovely bald spot. It's so classic of him and just makes me laugh. I thought I'd share. My friend who cut his hair said "That has never happened to me before!" I told her "well there is a first time for everything!" Today I found a strawberry on the carpet in the front room. Food is not allowed in that room and I told Dallin that if it was his that was naughty and we don't put food in there. He replied with " I know I'm naughty,but that's just ok with me" haha. This kid cracks me up DAILY, he always says funny stuff.

Dallin is 3 and just the cutest kid. He makes us laugh a lot and is so silly and playful. Today he said while snuggling "snuggle and a fuggle" we said "what's a fuggle?" he replied, it's an animal that doesn't do anyfing" lol he cracks us up with his little imagination!

potty trained!

A few weeks ago Dallin just decided to go potty every time he needed too! We felt like maybe we were pushing him too hard so we stopped everything fro a week or two. Then this one particular monday we told him to go peepee in the potty etc and he just did. He only wore a diaper for 3 nights. In the morning for a week or so when he would wake up he would go into the bathroom and just pee on the floor in his pjs and everything. I think he was doing it for fun cuz he never would even try to go on the actual toilet. what a mess everyday to clean! The 2nd night out of training he got up at 3 am to pee and got mad cuz he couldn't get his diaper off. So the 3rd night we took it off and so far a month later he has not wet the bed once! He is now 3 years 4 months old. He looks so cute in his little underwear. What a fun kid he is. It's really nice to have been able to stop changing diapers for at least a few months until baby katie comes.

3 year apointment

Dallin had his 3 year doc check up today. When we got in the car and on the way to the doc we said "dallin we are going to go see your doctor today!" he said YAAAY! so that was good. Once we got there he did the eye test. He could only actually name the circle shape so she had him stand and cover his eye and then she put the cards of shapes in front of his feet and he had to point to whatever shape she was pointing to on the eye board. He was so cute and did so good, then we did height and weight and blood pressure. He was perfect through all of it!. Then we went into the room and they had him get naked and wear the cute little robe, his little bum was hanging out the back it was so so funny! a few moments into the doc appointment he told corey he had to go potty! WE WERE SO SHOCKED! so corey took him into the bathroom and he went potty on the big potty no problems! It was awesome. then he let the doc feel his tummy and look in his eyes and ears and all that stuff. He got his flu vaccine and another one. We didn't tell him he had to get a shot until 2 seconds before they did it, and after it was over he said "that didn't tickle, that hurted me" For the record we never told him it would tickle. We were so happy with how well he did. He is a lot more easy going then Ben was. It was a good day for the doc for him. and look how cute he looks in his little robe! {with his bum hangin out haha} He is 35lbs putting him in the 75% and 39 1/4 inches tall making him in the 90% he's a big boy but just right :)

SO we had a sippy cup that feel and rolled under dallins dresser, I didn't see it until the milk was really yellow which means it went past sour! I normally would throw the cup away at that point but love this one that we had and thought's maybe I'd try to salvage it. so we rinsed it and stuck it in the dishwasher, still stunk, so I soaked it in bleach water, and dishwasher again..still stunk. So I'm trying one more thing, I know that apple cider vinegar works as a deoderizer so I'm soaking it with apple cider vinegar in it. It was sitting on the counter and corey was doing dishes and didn't see dallin grab it, apparently he took a sip and gagged and said "that apple juice is yucky" haha oops? poor kid that was not apple juice, but it was made from apples! haha

The other day we were driving somewhere, we stopped at the stop light and there was a guy holding a sign {to sell vacuums} and dancing to his ipod and pretending to vacuum with a store vacuum. I pointed it out to ben and said, "look at that guy dancing and pretending to vacuum" we just all stared then a moment later dallin blurts out "whatever guy" We were all laughing so hard!

Ben has his own cowboy boots, dallin loves them and wants to wear them all the time. We have contemplated getting dallin his own just never got around too it. I found these at Khols and bought them I thought they were HILARIOUS and they light up! Toy Story is Dallins absolute favorite! They are going to wear out fast but I knew he would love them and he does! He wears them all day!

MY little Dallin, he is so funny. Today we were driving in the car just he and I and it was cloudy and rainy and he was being really quiet and just said " mommy I'm sad" I said "why are you sad?" he said "I don't know" so I said do you want me to sing a happy song to make you happy? he said "yes" so I sang if your happy and you know it, and the popcorn song and then he requested twinkle twinkle and then I asked him if that helped he said yes. HAHA. Yesterday was sunday and a bit crazy getting to church corey was gone for guard and Dallin must not have gotten enough sleep. It was a fight to get him dressed for church and after I won, and he was dressed he sat in front of me on the floor with his face toward the ground looking up at me with his eyes to see if i was looking at him. I just sat there and then he looked up and yelled " your not allowed to smile at me anymore!" I laughed and that made him more upset haha. He is so cute even in his worst moments. Funny things he says, if someone is asleep and he wants to wake them up he says "wake up sleepy dude" he came up with that on his own. He is just such an absolute joy 97% of the time. So fun and playful and funny. I feel so blessed to have him and Ben in my home as my children.

we had the missionaries over for dinner,we thought the boys were playing trains together only to find my 2 year old at the computer desk and he'd taken a white-out pen, somehow broke it on the top and shook it and got white out all over my keyboard, carpet, computer desk and himself, not to mention his NEW pants and his shirt, WHAT THE CRAP DO ...I DO NOW? grrr this kid really IS a tornado! these are the types of messes he makes! Ben just wasn't like this, I guess dallin is making up for it! After the initial shock of the mess and coming to a realization the clothing probably can't be saved I got over it. until next time.....another mess is soon to be here, and yes, I will blog about it.

Happy Birthday Nov 22nd to my sweet little baby dallin. He turned 2! How time has flown, What a joy he is on our home and one busy baby! I can not keep up with his busy playfullness! He loves to climb and run and jump. He also likes to snuggle any chance he gets, he is very tender and kind to babies and small animals. He loves all animals, and tells us he loves us often {wuff u mommy} If we tell him we love him he says "wuff you too" he is learning more everyday to talk and makes us laugh as well. We love you little dallin!

I was ont he phone the other night and corey was on the computer and little did we realize dallin had found the chocolate chips! He walked in and had hands like this! We kept asking "where is the chocolate?" when we found the bag of chocolate chips we put them away, VERY AWAY. Luckily he didn't get chocolate on anything but himself.

Well Halloween was a big hit this year. Last year neither of my kids would even dress up, Dallin just cried when we put him in his little monkey costume he was so tired as well. Ben didn't want to dress up when it came down to it either. This year they were loving it. Ben a cowboy {he dresses like this everyday everywhere we go} and Dallin a fur trapper with moccasins. We went to the couple of neighbors across the street and then off to the church trunk or treat.

I pulled down the magnetic letters from a shelf and they are now dallins best friend. We were at the store and saw him messing with something in his pocket, we check it out and it was a pocket full of letters! We have found him this way more then once the past few weeks haha dallin dressed himself and put his pants on backward, then saw pockets and proceeded to stuff them with yet, more letters.

Hobby Horse

Last week Corey bought the a hobby horse {Stick horse} he only bought 1 horse and I knew we should have gotten two. Tjhey have fought over it all week so I just went to the garage grabbed a dowl, re-appolstery fabric and started making dally a tiny hobby horse for his very own. I think it turned out pretty cute and he LOVES IT! He carries it everywhere! It's so cute to watch the kids get in there cowboy hats and gallop around, little cuties

Dallin sure has started to talk a lot the last 2 weeks it's so fun. He can tell me the sound of a dog, which to him is a pant with his tongue sticking out. He knows a horse sound and kitty. Last night I had him on my lap and he saw a puppy on the computer and he kept pointing and saying "gogeeee" It took me a minute to realize what he was seeing and saying. It was so cute, then today when leaving someones home he waved and said " bybye" just perfectly. It was awesome. He has the cutest little voice, he's learned to say "more" when he's out of food or something. He says "mow" "mow" he melts my heart that little guy. He can already put his pants or shorts on himself! Ben couldn't do that for a long time. He's one goofy kid and makes me laugh so hard everyday.

This one afternoon I couldn't find dallin ANYWHERE. I was looking all over and calling his name then ben ran into his room and said "I found him, he's in the closet!". He wouldn't answer when I called like he normally does but when I did find him he burst out with a laugh. Goofy kid. So ben climbed in there with him and they played in the closet. Silly kids!

This is dallins left foot. He loves to climb on everything! We have pub height chairs at our table, he was climbing one and it tipped over and landed on his foot. I was a bit worried when i saw the bruise and worried it may be broken, but he never flinched when we touched it, but he does still walk with a limp, especially in the morning it seems to hurt him more. It's so sad to see him limp!

So tonight ben decided that Dallin needed a new diaper. And just started to change his diaper. I knew what was going on and went in to see if he'd gotten the diaper on right. The diaper was on backwards so I fixed it for him and left the room again. Then all of the sudden I smelled babypowder coming from the other room and knew what had happened. Especially sinceI heard giggling. Sure enough POWDER EVERYWHERE! Poor dallin. he was covered! I took off his shirt and had to laugh at the barely clinging diaper. I had to take a photo of what had just happened. Ben Did a pretty good job if he hadn't started to play with the powder!

Today Dallin said his first word. We don't really count Mamma because he has said that since he was about 6 months old and doesn't hardly ever use it. Today I was in the kitchen preparing food and he was pushing my legs away from the counters and said "up" I looked down and said "what?" and he said it again, "up" and then reached for me. I was so super exited. He is so great at communicating even though he doesn't know individual words. What a cutie he is. Hes tiny and can do so many things. I just love that little busy kid!

I'm no sure what Dallin's fascination is with my belly button. He loves to lift up my shirt, find my belly button and poke his finger into it.He doesn't do this with Corey or Ben! He has always done this! Not to mention he loves to hug my skin. If I'm laying on my stomach on the floor he comes and lifts up my shirt and lays on my skin. He is such a cute snuggly little baby. Ben was not as snuggly as this little guy. We sure love him.

Dallin can sure do a lot of things that Benjamin didn't do at his age. He can climb and draw and lots of other things even at the small age of 15 months. Today he got a pencil, scribbled on the fridge and then put the pencil back. well at least he put the pencil back right? This photo is hard to see but it whows his handy work. :)

One day daddy put undies on dallins head. Now when he sees them He thinks that is what they are for. After struggling to do it himself. We helped him out and he was a happy camper for a long time with these on his head. I had to follow him around with the camera I was laughing so hard.

Silly daddy, took dallins binky and connected 2 trains throught the handle hole. then gave it to him to suck on and he had to hold the trains to do so. It was so funny. Daddy is such a tease! The things dallin can do..
clap his hands, find his hair and toes when asked. Knows how to throw stuff in the trash { his diaper etc} can wave hello and goodbye. can point to what he wants. But he still cannot talk..or wont talk.

my little Dally has been getting some molars and has been miserable for over a week now! I feel so bad for the kid! His gums are all swollen and look like they hurt! He is sure a busy boy! empties out drawers, book shelves, tissue boxes and is constantly navigating through anything and everything he can get into! he loves books and snuggling. The other day he found a little bag of snoopy fabric that i have and he took a peice of it and went into his room and was emptying his drawer of pants looking for his pajama pants that I made him out of the same fabric! It was crazy! He will grab a handful of the fabric ans snuggle it too. Good thing I'm planning on makind his a blanky out of it huh! We took the binky away the other week, then i realized i should have weaned him off of it slower so i was giving it to him only at night. then his molars started to come in and he needed the binky to chew on and suck on to calm him. so I will wait till next week i think.

Dallins side molars have been coming in and he's been so miserable. yesterday they were kinda bloody! Poor little guy! Also today he turns 14 months old! He still has his ninki and I think otday wil be the day I take it away. I really dont want to because it's so dang cute! :( I think I will take one last picture of him with it in his cute face and them bye bye bink. It makes me feel like my baby is so big when they dont have a binki. It really does make me sad!
